First pair of denim pants!!!
They are not perfect, but they aren't the worst :)
Fabric: Black Stretch Denim
Pattern: Butterick B5895
No better feeling than a well fitted pant, however, these are not skin tight, but they still work for me...... sort of.
If I find the time in the future to remake this pattern, they will be constructed as skinny jeans.
The fit of the back is spot on!
No alterations.
7" zipper
Plus a hook and eye on the waistband, which by the way was sew by hand for a clean finish.
My continuous battle with store bought pants, is that they form a gap on the back of the waistband, but to my surprise, I did not encounter that issue with this pattern!

Tu problema con los pantalones comprados, lo sufrí yo muchos años y ahora les pasa a mis hijas.
ReplyDeleteEl problema es que tenemos menos cintura de lo normal, o más bien hacen los pantalones para quienes tienen más cintura.
Esto nos pasa a muchas y terminamos arreglando los pantalones, ya que es muy difícil encontrar unos que nos queden bien.
Ahora ya te quedan muy bien, sobretodo con el tipazo que tienes.
Cuando arregles el patrón te quedarán de alucine.

Estoy contemplando la posibilidad de arreglar este par que me hice, ajustarlo un poquito mas de las piernas, de lo contrario mama los encontrara en mi closet y se los llevara al de ella.
