Talk about feeling the breeze!!!!!

Won't be sweating with this vest on! 

I was aiming for a futuristic not form fitting look, but I think this journey took me into the 80's, maybe 90's? hahaha.

I made this shirt to survive the heat in Phoenix AZ!

Fabric: 100% Cotton

 

Instead of making button holes and sewing on about 10 buttons, I placed 2 snaps at belly level.

 

 

I like that this blouse is not skin tight hahaha



Flowy Summer Shirt

Chiffon?????? what?????? did I actually attempt to tango with my nemesis fabric? I guess so!

From the beginning, this fabric was rebellious, I had to place wrapping paper underneath it, in order to obtain straight edges. It was magic.......until I got to the hem!!! This step was disastrous, not even the powerful mighty steam could tame it.........the wonky hem came out victorious.

 As long as nobody looks at it with a magnifying glass, I will not stress over it.

 



It fits, I'm happy!!!!!

This pink 3D rosette chiffon lace (it stretches, which allows for growth) was a purchase at JoAnn's fabric store.

It is fully lined with a white jersey, elastic on the waist and ready to be worn.
